Welcome to Puppytime!

Puppytime - what an intense journey full of joy, accidents, time management, logistics, rules, loss of sleep and seemingly baby gates everywhere.  No worries as from the time your puppy first comes to your home, until it gets through the 4 1/2 month stage, your life as you knew it BP (before puppy) ceases to exist. 

However, there is joy in this journey as the developmental puppy time from 8 weeks to 4 1/2 months is critical. This time is essential for the following reasons:

1. It is THE KEY bonding time forming human relationships,
2. It is THE KEY foundation for solid obedience (taught in the form of puppy games),
3. It is THE KEY to your puppy learning pack manners (which it learns while running with other adult, well trained dogs who educate/discipline your puppy on the rules of life)
4. It is THE KEY to eventually having a dog you enjoy living with in your life and your home.

Close your eyes as the this first developmental stage of a puppies life flies by faster than a speeding bullet. Enjoy this time, laugh a lot, relax, breathe and know that the investment you make NOW will pay off in HUGE dividends when your puppy hits the infamous next developmental stage of 6+ months  - the teenage years.
