Snow to rain to ice to rain to a soggy, mucky mess..perfect puppy training time.

Those of with puppies at least 10 weeks old, put on their check cord, put on your rain boots and a rain jacket and go for a walk. As long as there is no ice, this is a FABULOUS opportunity to get your puppy on new footing, go exploring, expose them to cooler weather AND wear them out.

Then do a towel dry inside, trim their toenails, and they will crash out.  The worse the weather is, the more a dog has to work to maneuver their footing on a new surface, and it is not only physically tiring, but mentally tiring.

So, go stomp in some puddles yourself and have fun. Make sure your puppy is moving as they need to move to stay warm.

Won’t take much and they will be grateful for a warm, dry spot to sleep and recover from their soggy muck adventure-:)
