What a wonderful experience today to see little Iko (will be 11 weeks on Friday) on a "nature walk" at Lake Needwood with Suger, Pree and big sister Nava. The dogs didn't seem to mind the sub-freezing temps- only the 2-legged walkers had a problem.
Iko had no problem pulling his 30' rope (and 'learning line') through the brush. I was amazed by how he kept up with the group without any prodding or cajoling on our part; he just wanted to be part of the pack. The big dogs pretty much ignored him in their frolicking, but it was clear to me that in a very short time he will be right there in the thick of it :-))
