| A very tired Copper cooperated beautifully! |
This puppy program is great and fast moving. We have enjoyed working with Copper over the last month, but have trouble keeping on track with the program. Thanks for all your help, Roxanne!
Yes, the 8 week timeframe, that spans a puppy's life from 8 weeks to 16 weeks, is a blur. Copper is on track as he has learnrd the Puppy Sit, and is learning the Stacked Stand rapidly, as well as ALL the other foundational Puppy exercises of Touch, Come-Here, Step, Place,
ReplyDeleteStep, Off, Whistle Recall on a ck cord, kennel, and doing Quiet Time.
Copper is also learning volumes about being appropriate with other dogs via Raya's education, his runs with the adult WACA Pack, his time interacting with other young dogs such as Ghost and Pree, and his time spend watching the other dogs 'work' in classes such as the Retrieve Class. Copper is getting well socialized to a variety of situations which is critical to a puppy's education at this important stage of their life.
Like I said, Copper is right on track and will graduate from the Puppy Class in another 4 short weeks.
Then, it is time for the formal obedience doing my Novice Class
