Morning to newest PuppyTime students...
How goes the Quiet Time with Bruce? Have you started teaching the Sit? Every other obedience exercise starts with the Sit, as the Sit establishes your authority so it is the first obedience exercise taught. You should be doing a Sit going out/in every door, a Sit when you feed Bruce,and doing at least 20+ Sits a day, here-there-and everywhere.
Have you ordered your Novice training Curriculum from Tony Ancheta at Koehler training? When you do so, his Puppy Planners are free. They are excellent training and you will want them now.
Have you been able to locate some steps and a table for teaching Place and Sit and then Stand and then Down. Be creative and locate some tables or stools for his immediate training and exercise. Plus, it's just plain fun.
Teach Touch now, while you are in the house. Have you received your puppy bumbers yet?

ReplyDeleteSo far quiet time has been successful only twice. But after that. Every time we have had an accident. His potty whines and the let me go whines sound the same. As far as sit. Little guy has gotten that. We have not gotten the training stuff yet. Our paracord came in the mail today. We are doing the play retrieve have not figured out the table and steps yet. And have not gotten the training Manuel yet. Will post videos soon!
