Kayleigh learns to garden

Hi everyone, never done a blog before, not even on Facebook. Wonderful puppies, so glad to see so many. It seems like almost no one has animals anymore. When I grew up, everyone had all kinds of critters, and everything ran free! I am a firm believer that everyone should have animals and a garden. From what I understand that was the Original plan.

First you turn the soil..

Well, no. First you get rid of stuff that shouldn't be in the garden.

Then, you get the gardening tools and start working the soil.

Well forget gardening then. Time for a boot nap.

This week has been very hectic with my 10 year old BC being diagnosed with diabetes. But we got the insulin all squares away and she is already feeling better. New puppy Kaleigh getting into a routine. Border collies and Anatolian shepherds are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Anatolians are so laid back and very particular about their toilet habits. Border collies are like a double shot of espresso ALL Day.

Kayleigh  has learned to be quiet in her crate, but still wets it occasionally, just don't know when. She has plenty of outside time and knows where th potty spots are. She is beginning to go with me at feeding times, but only the smaller stock so she does not get overwhelmed. She has an outside crate where she can safety observe. Will buy some baby ducks soon as the adult ducks are way bigger than her. They won't move for her, just sit there and quack mockingly. Babies will build her herding confidence.  She and Oscar the piglet spent a long time helping in the green house today.

Meet you at the pink flower pot.
